JULY: Service
Updated: Feb 7, 2021
I can't believe that it's been 8 whole months since I started on this personal development journey. I'm so grateful to GOD for planting this seed in my heart- and giving me the fortitude to see it through. In the last month I have have taken some serious risks. Some were easy, some were uncomfortable, and some were down right hard. But I thank God for grace and mercy that gives me a new shot at this thing everyday. I am also really grateful for my husband who stands behind me, sometimes uncertain of the all the details and the conversations between be and God- but he trusts that my relationship with him is solid and consistent.
So the big question is: HOW DO YOU SERVE OTHERS?
How do you serve those closest to you? Your husband, your children, your parents, your siblings?
How do you serve the elderly, the less fortunate, the orphaned, and the widowed??? (What would they say about the quality of your service?)
Do you complain and grumble when you serve? Or do you serve as if you are serving GOD himself?
How does your heart feel when you have to serve? versus being given the option to serve?
Does your know you by your leadership and ability to use your skills
God calls us to be a demonstration of his love in the Earth (Love your neighbor as yourself)----what are you doing to carry the torch within the Earth in this way? Please share your responses to these questions on FB or Twitter---Serving is Hard, but we can figure it out together.
