About The Campaign
Campaign P31, as a women's ministry, was birthed out of my desire to have a closer, deeper, relationship with God. I can recall learning about the Proverbs 31 woman and often walked away feeling inadequate, defeated, and sometimes even, offended. I would say that there is no way I'm going to college and graduate school to come out being a 'superior' house wife (not a knock).
I later realized that 'she' would not be in the Bible if God did not intend on her testimony becoming an exemplar for women everywhere to grow toward. In fact, her accomplishments were not a checklist, or a rubric, by which modern woman should grade themselves, but a standard for excellence that we should study and learn from.
As I learned even more, I came to understand that 'she' is not one specific woman, but the idea of what a woman should be and be able to achieve by virtue of the Holy Spirit at work through her.
Purpose
Our purpose is to create a community of women who are actively seeking God's presence in their daily lives and routines. It is a forum to discuss what it means to grow toward wholeness, fulfillment, and balance in Christ. It is a platform to share God's best for our lives as women of varied experiences and backgrounds.
Most importantly, it is a place to garner solutions and support for life's challenges by reacting in a way that is consistent with being chosen & set apart. This includes coming into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, I come to you now, just as I am. I admit that I am a sinner, in need of a savior. Right now, I choose to turn away from sin, and I ask You to cleanse me of all things that would prevent me from being in relationship with you. I choose you, because I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I believe that he rose from the dead so that I may be forgiven and made new in Him. I ask You now to be my personal Lord and Savior, in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask that you fill me with the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, that will empower me to live life in alignment with your word. Thank you God for saving me. Amen.
