This campaign was birthed out a desire to have a closer, deeper, relationship with God. I can recall learning about "The Proverbs 31 Woman" and often walked away feeling inadequate , defeated, and sometimes even, offended. I would say that there is no way I'm going to college and graduate school to come out being a superior house wife (not a knock). I later realized that she would not be in the Bible if God did not intend on her testimony becoming an exemplar for women everywhere to grow toward. In fact, her accomplishments were not a checklist, or a rubric, by which modern woman should grade themselves, but a standard for excellence that we should study and learn from.
This is a chapter that outlines the life of a Woman of God; specifically married women. However, before I was married with children, I studied the types of things she did, and put into practice the things that were fitting for my life at that time. More than anything, I learned to serve GOD first...then all the other stuff fell in line. I am glad I had an opportunity to get prepared before I had to discovery it "on the job".
