Living life led by the voice within

Henry David Thoreau’s quote “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.”

Yesterday I saw this movie while waiting with my daughter in the Doctor's office, and it made me think. I thought about all the people I know who have dreams and aspirations of doing something greater. Who feel a "tug" at their inner spirit but for some reason can not seem to break away from the routine of life. I wonder what would it take to get this type of person, to listen to the still, small, voice- the appetite or yearning within. Would the freeing up of your finances help? Would the fear of death or a life not lived motivate you? Would the fact that the world would be cheated out of the knowledge and experience that only you possess ignite you toward action? WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

What if none of this was promised?---but would be released if you took the first move. What if? What if you've be waiting on the sidelines of life for years--- waiting for the coach to call you in--- and all along the coach was waiting on you to show him that you're ready to get in the game. Maybe it's time to renovate yourself. I'm just saying...
