When thinking about my past, yes there's tons I've learned, and a lot that I haven't. The one most valuable lesson I've learned is using my past and the experience to help me determine which way I should go in my future. Very early in my life someone told me that the definition of insanity was, doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. As I've travailed through life's journey, I now know that you can use what didn't work to help you land on what does. Kinda like Sudoku; you get better at predicting where you should step next, where successes lie based on details surrounding them. The thing that enhances your chances even more is faith and spiritual foundation. Let these work together to springboard you into your next chapter.
